Design Studio
Before I made the leap to the corporate world, I was the founder and creative director of Rail Digital, a boutique agency that specialized in web design and development, animation, and video production. I led a small (but mighty!) team on projects for a wide variety of clients from VMware to Mattel.
From a creative perspective, the most fulfilling aspect of this time was the chance to work on so many different projects, each with its own personality and opportunities. Having control over everything from the design of our identity to which brands we worked with was a wonderful—if occasionally stressful—challenge.
Some highlights from my Rail Digital days include earning a Top Video Production Agency Award from Clutch.co (through verified client reviews). We built the company website, Adwords campaigns, and social media channels, achieving 20,000 followers on Instagram.

Welcome To The Office
Our office was located in beautiful (and sometimes weird) downtown Santa Cruz—close enough to connect with our clients in Silicon Valley but far enough away to tap into a fresh creative energy. I set out to create a space where our team and clients wanted to visit for a meeting, play in the arcade, and hang out on the rooftop for drinks. It was an amazing place for parties, including a section for a video studio that doubled as a dance floor.
